Redmi 15A 5G Launch Confirmed With 6300mAh Battery And Flipkart Sale

Redmi is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in the Indian market as part of its expanding product lineup. The company has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi 15A 5G will be launched in India on March 27 and the device will be sold through the online platform Flipkart.

The confirmation about Flipkart availability surfaced after a promotional banner appeared on the e commerce website. Earlier the smartphone was only featured on the official Redmi India website but the latest update clearly indicates that customers will be able to purchase the device through Flipkart after its launch.

The new Redmi 15A 5G is expected to attract buyers in the budget segment with several notable features. One of the major highlights of the device is its large 6300mAh battery which is designed to provide long lasting performance for daily usage without frequent charging.

According to details shared by the company the smartphone will come in three color options including black blue and pink. Redmi has also indicated that the phone will feature a display capable of supporting refresh rates up to 120Hz which should offer smoother scrolling and better viewing experience.

In terms of photography the Redmi 15A 5G will include a dual camera setup on the rear side. The primary sensor will be a 32 megapixel AI camera designed to capture clear images in various lighting conditions.

The design of the smartphone has also been partially revealed. It features a flat rear panel along with a rectangular camera module that houses two camera lenses and an LED flash. The pink variant appears to include a textured finish while the company branding is placed at the lower corner of the back panel.

On the front side the phone will feature slightly thick bezels and a waterdrop style notch for the front camera. The right side of the device will include the power button and volume control keys for easy access.

Redmi is expected to equip the smartphone with an octa core 5G processor though full details about the chipset have not been officially announced yet.

Industry observers believe that the Redmi 15A 5G will be positioned below the Redmi 15 5G which was launched in India in August 2025 with a starting price of 14999. That earlier model offered a large display high refresh rate Snapdragon processor and a massive battery.

With the upcoming Redmi 15A 5G the company appears to be targeting users who want a 5G smartphone with strong battery life and modern features at an affordable price point.
