Realme Narzo 100x 5G Debuts in India With Massive 8000mAh Battery and 144Hz Display

Realme has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Narzo 100x 5G. The latest device arrives with a strong focus on battery life, gaming performance and durability, while offering several premium features at a competitive starting price of Rs 18499.

The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its massive 8000mAh Titan Battery, which the company says is the largest in its segment. According to Realme, a single full charge can power the phone for up to three days under normal usage. The company also claims the battery is designed for long term reliability, supporting up to 1600 charging cycles while maintaining more than 80 percent of its original health even after seven years.

To complement the large battery, the Narzo 100x 5G supports 45W fast charging. It also includes several intelligent charging technologies such as AI Long Life Algorithm, AI Night Charging, AI Cold Charging, Bypass Charging and One Tap Cooling. These features are designed to reduce heat generation during charging while extending overall battery lifespan.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm octa core processor. The smartphone offers up to 14GB of dynamic RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage. Realme says the device has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 631000, making it suitable for gaming, multitasking and live streaming.

To ensure stable performance during extended gaming sessions, the phone is equipped with a 5300 square millimeter AirFlow Vapour Chamber cooling system. The cooling solution helps control internal temperatures while maintaining smooth performance during demanding tasks. The device runs on Realme UI 7.0, and the company claims users can expect consistent performance for up to four years.

The Narzo 100x 5G features a 6.8 inch LCD Ultra Bright display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1200 nits. The high refresh rate promises smoother scrolling, gaming and animations, while the bright panel improves outdoor visibility. Additional features include DC Dimming technology and Super Linear speakers. Realme also claims the phone can support up to 12 hours of continuous gameplay for titles such as BGMI.

Photography is supported by a 50 megapixel dual AI rear camera system along with an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The camera software includes AI Portrait Lighting and AI Eraser, allowing users to enhance images and remove unwanted objects with ease.

Artificial intelligence plays a significant role throughout the device. The smartphone comes with AI Assistant for Notes and Gemini Live integration, enabling users to organize notes more efficiently and access AI powered assistance for everyday tasks.

In terms of design, the Narzo 100x 5G features a Light Glass finish and is available in Midnight Black and Flash Orange color options. It also includes AI Pulse Light, a customizable lighting system that displays different effects for incoming calls, notifications, battery alerts and supported music applications. Users can choose from nine colors and five lighting modes to personalize the experience.

Realme has also focused on durability. The smartphone includes ArmorShell Protection and has reportedly passed the MIL STD 810H military grade shock resistance test. According to the company, the device can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. It also carries an IP65 rating for resistance against dust and water, offering added protection during daily use.
