Realme C100i Launched in India With 6,500mAh Battery and 8MP Camera

Realme has expanded its affordable smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Realme C100i. The new handset focuses on battery capacity, a smooth display, expandable storage, and basic everyday performance while keeping the price within reach of budget conscious buyers.

The Realme C100i is available in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration for ₹14,999. Buyers can choose between Skyline Silver and Midnight Black colour options. The phone will be sold through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, online retailers, and selected offline stores.

Battery life is one of the main talking points of the new smartphone. Realme has fitted the C100i with a 6,500mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging. The handset also supports reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to provide power to compatible devices when required.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.8 inch HD Plus IPS LCD display. The screen has a resolution of 720 by 1570 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Brightness can reach up to 700 nits under standard conditions and up to 900 nits in certain scenarios. Panda MN228 glass is provided for additional display protection.

Performance comes from the UNISOC T7250 processor, built using a 12nm process. The octa core chipset operates at up to 1.8GHz and works alongside a Mali G57 MP1 GPU. The phone includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can further expand storage through a microSD card, with support for capacities of up to 2TB.

The software experience is based on Android 16 with Realme UI 6.0. The device also features an ultra linear bottom firing speaker, giving users a dedicated audio setup for calls, videos, and other everyday content.

Photography remains fairly straightforward on the C100i. The rear panel carries an 8MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies and video calls, there is a 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The setup is aimed more at routine photography rather than advanced camera features.

Realme has also added several practical hardware features. A side mounted fingerprint sensor is included for unlocking the handset, while the phone carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. It also comes with MIL STD 810H military grade durability certification.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type C port. The phone measures 166.5mm in height, 78.2mm in width, and 8.7mm in thickness, while its weight stands at 210 grams.

With its combination of a large battery, 120Hz display, expandable storage, and durable design, the Realme C100i is positioned as an everyday smartphone for buyers who give priority to battery endurance and essential features. Its ₹14,999 price also places it firmly in the budget segment, where battery size and display smoothness can make a noticeable difference for users.
