OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT Integration for PowerPoint Presentation Creation

OpenAI has launched a new ChatGPT feature for PowerPoint that allows users to create, edit, organize, and improve presentations directly through natural language conversations inside the application.

OpenAI has unveiled a new integration for Microsoft PowerPoint that allows users to create complete presentations using ChatGPT directly inside the platform. The latest feature is designed to simplify presentation making by enabling users to generate and edit slides through simple chat based instructions.

According to the company, the new tool removes the need for advanced design skills or complex formatting knowledge. Users can now ask ChatGPT to prepare slides, arrange information, rewrite content, and improve the overall flow of presentations without leaving the PowerPoint application.

The integration works through a newly added sidebar inside PowerPoint. Once installed, the ChatGPT assistant can help users build presentations from scratch, convert rough notes into professional slides, and even reorganize existing presentations for better storytelling and clarity. OpenAI says the entire workflow can now happen within the PowerPoint interface itself.

One of the biggest highlights of the new feature is its ability to transform different types of content into slide decks. Users can upload notes, spreadsheets, documents, images, or older presentations and ask ChatGPT to convert them into structured presentations. This could save significant time for students, teachers, professionals, and business teams who regularly prepare reports and visual presentations.

The company also revealed that ChatGPT will not only generate slides but also assist in reviewing presentations. Users can access the integration by installing the ChatGPT add in from the PowerPoint Add ins section or through the Microsoft Marketplace.

After installation, users can sign in with their OpenAI account and start using ChatGPT directly inside PowerPoint. Industry experts believe the feature could significantly change how presentations are created by reducing manual work and making content creation faster and more accessible for everyday users.
