OnePlus Raises Prices Of Five Budget And Nord Smartphones In India

OnePlus has once again revised smartphone prices in India, bringing higher costs to five models across its Nord and N series lineup. The latest increase affects the OnePlus Nord 6, Nord CE 6, Nord CE 6 Lite, OnePlus N6 and OnePlus N6x.

The price revision is particularly noticeable on the Nord CE 6 Lite, where one variant has become Rs 4,000 more expensive. Other affected models have received increases of Rs 2,000 or Rs 3,000 depending on the configuration.

The OnePlus Nord 6 now starts at Rs 46,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, up from Rs 44,999. Its 12GB RAM and 256GB variant has moved from Rs 50,999 to Rs 52,999.

The Nord CE 6 has also received a Rs 2,000 increase on both configurations. The 8GB RAM and 128GB model now costs Rs 37,999 instead of Rs 35,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version has gone from Rs 39,999 to Rs 41,999.

The biggest revision in this group applies to the Nord CE 6 Lite. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB version is now priced at Rs 28,999, compared with Rs 25,999 earlier. The 8GB RAM and 128GB model has increased from Rs 27,999 to Rs 30,999.

The 8GB RAM and 256GB Nord CE 6 Lite has seen the steepest increase. Its price has climbed from Rs 30,999 to Rs 34,999, making it Rs 4,000 costlier.

The entry level OnePlus N6 has also become more expensive. The 4GB RAM and 128GB model has moved from Rs 22,999 to Rs 24,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB version now costs Rs 26,999 instead of Rs 24,999.

The OnePlus N6x, another affordable option in the lineup, has seen a Rs 2,000 increase on both variants. The 4GB RAM and 64GB model now costs Rs 20,999, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB version has increased to Rs 22,999.

In terms of hardware, the affected phones continue to target different segments. The Nord 6 features a 6.78 inch display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, 50 megapixel and 8 megapixel rear cameras and a 9,000mAh battery. The Nord CE 6 packs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and an 8,000mAh battery.

The N series models focus more heavily on the affordable segment. The N6 comes with a 6.75 inch display, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor, 50 megapixel rear camera and 8,000mAh battery, while the N6x uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset and a 7,000mAh battery.

The price changes are reportedly linked to rising costs of memory components used in smartphones, particularly RAM and storage. For buyers planning to pick up one of these models, the revised prices mean checking current offers and discounts could become more important before making a purchase.
