OnePlus launches the Nord CE6 Lite in India featuring a large 7000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, 144Hz display and Android 16 based OxygenOS, targeting budget users with strong everyday performance

OnePlus has added a new affordable option to its lineup in India with the launch of the Nord CE6 Lite. The smartphone is designed for users who want a long lasting battery, smooth display experience and reliable daily performance without spending too much.
A key highlight of the device is its massive 7000mAh battery, which is built to deliver extended usage on a single charge. It also supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up the device when needed. The phone runs on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, offering a clean and familiar software experience.
Powering the Nord CE6 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor paired with Mali G615 MC2 GPU. The device comes in multiple configurations with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Users also get the option to expand storage up to 2TB via microSD card support, which adds extra flexibility for media storage and apps.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.72 inch Full HD plus LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen offers up to 680 nits peak brightness, making it usable in most lighting conditions. Despite being a budget device, OnePlus has focused on providing a smooth scrolling and gaming experience.
In terms of photography, the Nord CE6 Lite includes a 50MP primary camera using the Omnivision OV50D40 sensor with electronic image stabilization. It is supported by a 2MP monochrome lens for depth effects. On the front, an 8MP camera handles selfies and video calls. While not aimed at flagship photography, the setup is tuned for everyday social media and casual shooting needs.
The phone also brings decent durability for its segment. It comes with an IP64 rating for protection against dust and light water exposure. Additionally, it carries MIL STD 810H certification, which suggests a level of resistance against rough usage conditions, making it more reliable for daily handling.
Security is managed through a side mounted fingerprint sensor, offering quick access to the device. Connectivity options include 5G support, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a USB Type C port, ensuring modern network compatibility.
Pricing has been kept competitive to attract budget buyers. The 6GB plus 128GB variant is priced at 20,999 rupees, while the 8GB plus 128GB model costs 22,999 rupees. The top 8GB plus 256GB version is available at 25,999 rupees. The phone will go on sale starting May 12 through OnePlus official channels, Amazon and offline retail stores.
Launch offers include instant discounts on select credit card transactions and additional benefits on EMI plans, making the device slightly more accessible for early buyers. With its large battery and balanced specifications, the Nord CE6 Lite aims to strengthen OnePlus’s position in the budget smartphone segment.
