OnePlus Nord CE 6 Series Set for India Launch on May 7 with Big Battery and Gaming Focus

OnePlus is preparing to expand its Nord lineup in India with the launch of the Nord CE 6 series, scheduled for May 7 at 12 PM. The new series includes two models, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. Ahead of the launch, the company has already made a dedicated microsite live on its official website, revealing several key details about the design and specifications of both devices

The Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to be positioned as a performance oriented mid range smartphone. It is likely to come with a price range between 20,000 and 25,000 rupees in India. After the launch, both devices will be available for purchase through the OnePlus official website and Amazon, making them widely accessible to buyers

In terms of performance, the Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, while the standard Nord CE 6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The higher model is also expected to include a massive 8000mAh battery, while the Lite version will pack a 7000mAh battery designed to last up to two days on a single charge according to the company

OnePlus has highlighted endurance as a key strength of the series. The Nord CE 6 Lite is claimed to maintain strong battery health even after 1200 full charging cycles. It will also come with support for long term software stability, with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and 8GB RAM ensuring smooth day to day performance

The device has also shown strong results in benchmarking, reportedly scoring over 1,030,000 points on AnTuTu, which indicates solid mid range performance capability. OnePlus also claims that the phone is optimized for long term usage with up to five years of smooth system performance based on internal testing

Display experience is another important highlight of the Nord CE 6 Lite. It is expected to feature a flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a punch hole design for the front camera. This setup is aimed at providing a smoother visual experience for scrolling, streaming and gaming

Gaming performance has also been emphasized by OnePlus. The Nord CE 6 Lite is said to support up to 144 fps in casual games like Subway Surfers, while more demanding titles such as BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile may be capped at 90 fps.
