OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Set to Debut With Massive 8600mAh Battery and Gaming Focus

Upcoming OnePlus gaming smartphone promises extreme battery life, ultra fast charging, and advanced performance features, aiming to deliver a powerful experience for mobile gamers with next generation hardware and cooling support

The smartphone industry is gearing up for another major launch as OnePlus prepares to introduce its next performance focused device, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. The phone is expected to arrive in China next week and is already generating attention for its extreme battery capacity and gaming centric features.

Interestingly, the device has also appeared on China’s MIIT certification platform, hinting that its launch is imminent. Early listings suggest the smartphone could be powered by a 3nm based octa core processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, positioning it among the most powerful chips in its segment.

One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming device is its massive 8600mAh battery. According to early information shared by the company on Weibo, the phone will support 120W fast wired charging, allowing users to gain significant power in just minutes. OnePlus claims that even a short 10 minute charge could deliver around two hours of gameplay, making it ideal for heavy gaming users.

Battery optimization has also been improved through a dedicated energy concentration system developed by Oppo. This technology is expected to enhance backup efficiency under different conditions, offering better performance in both normal and low temperature environments. The company suggests that users could see noticeable gains in battery endurance depending on usage scenarios.

Gaming performance is clearly a major focus for this device. The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is expected to support up to 165 frames per second in select games, providing a smoother and more responsive experience. To further improve touch response, the phone will include the Lingxi Touch chip, capable of delivering an instant touch sampling rate of up to 4000Hz.

Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus is also preparing to launch a new Strix gaming controller. This accessory is designed with dual rear triggers and additional support tools, including an external cooling fan. The fan can be attached via a USB Type C connection, helping manage heat during long gaming sessions.

The company has a history of building strong performance devices in this lineup. Last year, the OnePlus Ace 6 was launched with a large AMOLED display featuring a high refresh rate and peak brightness levels designed for outdoor visibility. It was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and included a dual camera setup with a 50 megapixel main sensor and an ultra wide lens.

The Ace series has gradually evolved into a performance driven lineup, with each new version focusing more on speed, gaming, and endurance. The upcoming Ultra variant appears to push those boundaries further with a larger battery, faster charging, and advanced touch response technology.

With its launch scheduled for April 28 in China, expectations are high that the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will target users who demand long lasting performance without compromising on speed. As gaming smartphones continue to grow in popularity, this release could strengthen OnePlus presence in the high performance mobile segment.
