Motorola is preparing to launch the Razr 70 Ultra with a foldable design Snapdragon 8 Elite chip 50MP cameras and fast charging support with improved display experience and stronger battery backup

Motorola is getting ready to expand its foldable smartphone lineup with the upcoming Razr 70 Ultra. The device has recently surfaced through certification listings, suggesting that its official launch could happen very soon in China followed by other global markets. The Razr 70 series is expected to include both the standard Razr 70 and the more advanced Ultra variant, with the Ultra model now drawing most of the attention due to its upgraded hardware and design improvements.

One of the most discussed highlights of the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is its display setup. The phone is expected to feature a large 6.9 inch foldable main screen with a resolution of 1224 by 2992 pixels. Along with this, a 4 inch OLED cover display is also part of the design, offering a resolution of 1080 by 1272 pixels. This dual display approach continues Motorola’s focus on making foldable phones more practical for everyday use without opening the device every time.

Performance wise, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM. Storage options may go as high as 1TB according to early listings. The phone has also been spotted with model number XT2655-4 on TENAA, which has revealed several key specifications including its processing power and memory configurations. The overall design is expected to remain slim with dimensions of 171 by 73.9 by 7.2mm and a weight of around 199 grams.

Battery details also add to the excitement. The Razr 70 Ultra is said to pack a dual cell battery system with a total capacity of around 4540mAh, which is effectively considered close to 4700mAh. Global variants are also being discussed with reports suggesting a slightly larger 5000mAh battery in some markets. The device is expected to support 68W fast charging, which should help reduce charging time significantly for users who rely heavily on their phones throughout the day.

Camera performance is another strong focus area for Motorola this time. The Razr 70 Ultra is expected to feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera along with an additional supporting lens. On the front, a 50 megapixel camera is also likely to be included for selfies and video calls, continuing the brand’s push towards high resolution imaging even in foldable devices. A side mounted fingerprint sensor is also expected for security, making unlocking quick and convenient.

With certification listings already appearing and multiple specifications now surfacing, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is clearly moving closer to launch. If the leaked details hold true, the phone could become one of the more competitive foldable smartphones in its segment, combining strong performance, improved battery life and a refined foldable design.
