The device stands out with its high resolution 200 megapixel primary camera, large AMOLED display, strong battery backup, and a durable build designed for everyday challenges.
The smartphone arrives with a sleek and lightweight design despite housing a substantial 5200mAh battery. Weighing around 183 grams and measuring just 7.38mm in thickness, the Moto G Max 5G combines portability with long lasting power. The battery supports 33W wired fast charging through a USB Type C port, helping users quickly get back to full power when needed.
One of the biggest highlights of the new handset is its camera system. Motorola has equipped the Moto G Max 5G with a dual rear camera setup led by a 200 megapixel sensor featuring optical image stabilization and support for up to 10x digital zoom. The primary camera is designed to capture highly detailed images across different lighting conditions. Supporting it is an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera with a 120 degree field of view, allowing users to fit more into every frame. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32 megapixel front camera capable of delivering sharp and vibrant results. The device can also record videos at up to 2K resolution at 30 frames per second.
Performance is handled by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The chipset is built to deliver smooth multitasking, efficient power consumption, and reliable performance for gaming, streaming, and everyday applications. Graphics processing is supported by the Mali G57 MC2 GPU, ensuring a responsive user experience.
Motorola has also focused heavily on display quality. The Moto G Max 5G features a 6.8 inch Super HD Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, making scrolling and animations appear smoother. With peak brightness reaching 5000 nits and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the display is designed to remain clear and durable even in challenging outdoor conditions.
Durability is another area where the smartphone aims to impress. The device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water exposure. In addition, it comes with Military Grade 810H certification, reflecting enhanced resistance to drops and harsh environmental conditions. These features make the Moto G Max 5G suitable for users who prioritize ruggedness alongside performance.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 based Hello UI and includes modern security options such as an in display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It also packs a range of sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and electronic compass for an improved user experience.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou support. This comprehensive connectivity package ensures reliable communication and navigation capabilities across different regions.
