Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) Launches With 50MP Camera and Massive 8000mAh Battery
Lenovo new gaming focused smartphone arrives in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 2K AMOLED display, ultra fast charging support and rugged build designed for heavy performance users and long lasting usage
Lenovo has officially introduced its latest smartphone in the Chinese market under the Legion series. The new Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is designed as a performance centric device that combines high end hardware with a large battery, making it suitable for gamers and power users who demand sustained performance throughout the day.
The device has already opened for pre orders and will go on sale starting June 9. Pricing varies depending on the storage configuration. The base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at around 36,895 rupees, while higher versions go up to approximately 62,455 rupees for the top model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with Adreno 829 GPU. It runs on Android 16 and supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM along with UFS 4.1 storage options. This combination is aimed at delivering smooth multitasking, gaming performance and fast app response times.
One of the biggest highlights of the Legion Y70 (2026) is its massive 8000mAh battery, which is supported by 90W fast charging. This ensures long usage hours even under heavy workloads, while also reducing downtime with quick recharging support.
On the display side, the smartphone features a 6.82 inch 2K AMOLED LTPO panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 7000 nits. The screen also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and DC dimming, offering a premium visual experience for gaming and media consumption.
Camera performance includes a dual rear setup with a 50 megapixel primary sensor featuring OIS support and an 8 megapixel autofocus ultra wide lens. On the front, the device carries a 32 megapixel selfie camera designed for video calls and content creation.
The build quality of the phone is also focused on durability. It comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water exposure. Security is handled by an in display fingerprint sensor, adding convenience along with protection.
Connectivity options are fully loaded with 5G support, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, dual 4G VoLTE and USB Type C. This makes the device well equipped for modern network standards and seamless connectivity across different usage scenarios.
