Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G India Launch Set for September 18

Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G will launch in India on September 18 with a 6000mAh battery, dual rear cameras, two color options and Amazon availability for buyers in India soon.

Lava is preparing to bring another smartphone to the Indian market, with the Bold N4 Pro 5G scheduled to make its debut on September 18. The company has started revealing key details ahead of the launch, giving buyers an early look at what to expect from the upcoming handset.

The new smartphone is expected to sit above the recently introduced Bold N4 Lite in the companys lineup. While Lava has not yet disclosed every specification, the confirmed details suggest that battery capacity and camera hardware will be among the main highlights of the Bold N4 Pro 5G.

The handset will pack a 6000mAh battery, which should appeal to users who prefer a phone that can comfortably handle long periods of everyday use. Lava has not yet announced the charging capability, so more information is expected around the launch.

Photography will also be an important part of the device. The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G will come with a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor. The company has not revealed the specifications of the second rear camera yet.

The design of the phone has already been shown through the promotional material created for the launch. It will have a flat rear panel with a square shaped camera island positioned toward the upper left corner. The camera section appears to include four openings, with one used for the LED flash.

A flat mid frame will give the phone a straightforward modern appearance. The right side houses the power button and volume controls, keeping the main physical controls within easy reach. On the front, Lava has opted for a waterdrop style notch to accommodate the selfie camera.

For now, Lava is keeping some of the more important specifications under wraps. Details about the display, processor, RAM, storage and pricing have not been announced. These details could play a major role in determining where the Bold N4 Pro 5G stands among other smartphones in its segment.

The upcoming phone will be available through Amazon. A dedicated microsite for the handset is already live on the ecommerce platform, confirming that online sales will be part of the launch strategy. The company has also confirmed Gold and Blue as the two color choices for the device.

The launch comes shortly after Lava introduced the Bold N4 Lite in India. The more affordable model was launched at Rs 8,099 and targets buyers looking for basic smartphone features at a lower price.

The Lava Bold N4 Lite features a 6.56 inch LCD touchscreen and uses the Unisoc 9863A processor. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, while a microSD card can be used to expand storage up to 64 GB.

The smaller model runs Android 16 Go and carries an 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 5 megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. A side mounted fingerprint scanner is also included for security.

Lava has promised two years of security updates for the Bold N4 Lite, giving the budget device a longer software support period than some entry level phones in the market.

The Bold N4 Pro 5G appears to be aimed at buyers looking for a step up from the companys entry level offerings. The larger battery and 5G connectivity could become key selling points, although the final positioning will depend heavily on its processor, display, memory configurations and launch price.

With the September 18 launch approaching, Lava is expected to reveal more information about the handset. Pricing will be one of the most closely watched details, particularly because the Indian smartphone market has several competing models in the affordable and mid range categories.

For now, the confirmed picture is fairly clear. The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G will arrive in India on September 18, carry a 6000mAh battery, feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera and be offered in Gold and Blue. Amazon will handle its online availability, while the remaining specifications and price are expected to be announced closer to launch.
