Huawei MatePad Pro Max Launches with Massive 10400mAh Battery Yet Claims Title of World’s Slimmest Flagship Tablet

Huawei introduces MatePad Pro Max featuring 13.2 inch OLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, 50MP camera, 10400mAh battery and ultra slim 4.7mm design redefining portable productivity and premium tablet experience for global users

Huawei has officially unveiled its latest premium tablet Huawei MatePad Pro Max at a launch event held in Bangkok. The device is already making headlines for its ultra slim design and powerful specifications, positioning itself as one of the most advanced tablets in the flagship category.

One of the most striking aspects of this new device is its design philosophy. Measuring just 4.7mm in thickness and weighing only 499 grams, Huawei claims it is currently the world’s thinnest and lightest flagship tablet. Despite such a slim profile, the company has managed to pack in a large battery and high end hardware, making it stand out in the premium segment.

The tablet features a 13.2 inch Flexible OLED PaperMatte display with 3K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports 1600 nits peak brightness along with 1440Hz PWM dimming, ensuring better visibility even under bright outdoor conditions. Huawei has further enhanced usability with ultra thin 3.55mm bezels, and the front camera has been neatly integrated within the frame to maintain a clean design.

Powering the device is a strong focus on productivity and performance. Huawei has included support for keyboard accessories and stylus input, aiming to deliver a laptop like experience. The company also claims that the MatePad Pro Max offers 20 percent better performance and 30 percent improved heat management compared to the previous MatePad Pro 2025 model.

Photography and multimedia have also been given attention. The tablet comes with a 50MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera for video calls and selfies. For audio performance, Huawei has added a six speaker setup supported by a quad driver bass system along with four microphones for clearer sound capture.

Battery life is another major highlight. The device is backed by a large 10400mAh battery, which Huawei says can deliver more than 14 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge. This makes it suitable for long working hours, entertainment, and travel use without frequent charging interruptions.

In terms of hardware options, the MatePad Pro Max is available in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variants. It is priced starting at £999.99, which is approximately 1,28,400 rupees. The tablet will be available in Blue and Space Gray colour options, although availability may vary depending on regional markets.

With its combination of extreme thinness, powerful battery, high refresh rate display and productivity focused features, Huawei MatePad Pro Max is positioned as a strong contender in the premium tablet segment, targeting users who want performance without compromising on portability.
