Google Gemini Brings Free NEET Mock Tests for Students in India
Google Gemini now allows students in India to take free full length NEET UG mock tests powered by AI, helping them practice exam style questions and improve preparation with detailed step by step feedback

For thousands of medical aspirants in India, preparing for NEET UG often means juggling expensive coaching classes and endless practice papers. Now, Google has introduced a new feature in its Gemini AI that aims to make this journey a little easier and more accessible. Students can now take full length NEET mock tests directly on the Gemini platform without paying any extra fee.
The company has designed this feature to closely match the real exam experience. According to Google India, the mock tests have been developed in collaboration with education platforms like Physics Wallah and Careers360. The idea behind this partnership was to ensure that the questions and structure reflect the actual NEET UG exam pattern and difficulty level as closely as possible, giving students a more realistic practice environment.
Interestingly, NEET UG is not the only exam supported on Gemini. Google has already been offering practice tests for competitive exams like SAT and JEE Main. With the addition of NEET UG, the platform now expands its support for medical entrance aspirants, making AI based learning tools more relevant for a wider student community.
Accessing the feature is simple and does not require any technical setup. Students only need to open the Gemini app and type a prompt such as I want to take a NEET mock exam. Once submitted, the AI generates a complete exam style question paper that mirrors the real test format. At present, this feature is available in English only.
What makes this tool more useful is not just the mock test itself, but also the learning support that follows. After attempting questions, students can ask Gemini for detailed step by step explanations. This helps them understand where they went wrong and how to improve, turning practice into a more interactive learning experience.
Google has also confirmed that these NEET UG mock tests are completely free. Anyone with a Google account, whether personal or Workspace, can access the feature through the Gemini app. The rollout has already begun, and students across India can start using it immediately to strengthen their exam preparation.
