First Look at Google Pixel 11 Series Ahead of Launch Promises Powerful Cameras and Faster Performance

Leaked details of the Pixel 11 lineup reveal premium design, upgraded displays, advanced Tensor G6 processor, and high-end camera setups as Google prepares for an anticipated August launch

Google is gearing up to launch its next-generation Pixel smartphones, and leaks are already giving a glimpse of what the Pixel 11 series might offer. Following the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro, renders of the Pixel 11 Pro XL have surfaced, completing the anticipated lineup alongside the Pixel 11 Pro Fold revealed earlier online. While Google has not officially confirmed these devices, the leaks provide insight into potential upgrades in design, display, performance, and camera capabilities.

Design-wise, the Pixel 11 Pro XL appears to follow the aesthetic of its predecessors, featuring a clean all-black camera module without contrasting body accents. Reports suggest the series will continue with flat metal frames, lending a premium feel, and a glass backplate, though specifics on glass protection are yet unclear. The overall design retains a minimalist and high-end appeal consistent across the lineup.

Display upgrades are expected across the series, with the Pixel 11 Pro XL likely sporting a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel, matching the previous Pixel 10 Pro XL in size and thickness. The standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro could feature 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED screens, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold might include a 6.4-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner display, both possibly AMOLED.

Performance improvements are centered around Google’s unreleased Tensor G6 chipset, rumored to come with a 7-core CPU configuration, MediaTek M90 modem, and a new Titan M3 security chip. The Pixel 11 Pro XL may include 16GB of RAM and start with 256GB storage, while the base Pixel 11 could feature 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, reflecting adjustments for rising memory costs.

Camera details remain limited, but the series is expected to carry forward the Pixel 10 lineup’s high-end imaging capabilities. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL featured a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold offered a 48-megapixel main, 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens. Google may retain similar configurations while enhancing software and AI features for improved photography.

The Pixel 11 series is expected to launch around August, following a timeline similar to last year. Pricing details remain unclear, though memory cost increases could influence the final price. For reference, the Google Pixel 10 launched in India at 79,999 INR, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL were priced at 1,09,999 INR and 1,24,999 INR respectively, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold started at 1,72,999 INR. The new series promises faster processors, refined design, and advanced camera capabilities to maintain Google’s position in the premium smartphone segment.
