Ai Plus Expands Nova Lineup with Affordable 5G Smartphones Packed with Premium Features
The new Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G bring large batteries, capable cameras, high refresh rate displays, and AI powered features at competitive prices.

Ai Plus has strengthened its presence in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of two new devices under its Nova series. The company has introduced the Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G, targeting users who want modern features, reliable performance, and 5G connectivity without stepping into the premium price segment.
The launch reflects the growing demand for feature rich smartphones that combine large batteries, capable cameras, and AI driven software experiences. Both models come equipped with MediaTek processors and offer a blend of performance and affordability aimed at everyday users.
The higher end Nova 2 Pro 5G stands out with a large 6.9 inch LCD display featuring Full HD Plus resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is designed to deliver a fluid experience while gaming, browsing, or watching videos. With brightness levels reaching up to 800 nits in high brightness mode, the display is also expected to remain visible in outdoor conditions.
Powering the Nova 2 Pro 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Users can further expand storage through a microSD card, making the device suitable for those who store large amounts of content on their phones. The handset also includes a multilayer cooling system designed to maintain performance during extended usage.
Meanwhile, the Nova 2 Neo 5G caters to budget conscious buyers who still want access to modern smartphone features. It features a 6.74 inch HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and improved responsiveness compared to traditional displays. The device runs on the same Android 16 based software platform as its larger sibling.
Battery life is a major focus across both smartphones. Each model comes with a 6000mAh battery designed to support extended use throughout the day. The Nova 2 Neo 5G supports 18W fast charging, while the Nova 2 Pro 5G offers faster 33W charging, allowing users to spend less time connected to a charger.
Photography capabilities have also received attention. The Nova 2 Neo 5G features a 48 megapixel Sony IMX582 AI camera on the rear and an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The Nova 2 Pro 5G builds on this setup by combining a 48 megapixel primary camera with an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens, offering greater flexibility for photography enthusiasts. A 13 megapixel front camera handles self portraits and video communication on the Pro model.
Software plays an important role in the user experience. Both devices run NxtQuantum OS based on Android 16 and include the NxtPrivacy dashboard alongside AI powered tools. The company says these features are designed to improve customization, privacy management, and overall smartphone usability.
The Nova 2 Pro 5G also introduces several premium touches, including customizable rear panel lights that can react to calls, notifications, and messages. Dual stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a premium 2.5D glass finish further enhance the overall experience, giving the phone a more refined feel than its price might suggest.
Durability has not been overlooked either. Both smartphones carry IP65 ratings for protection against dust and water exposure. Connectivity features include dual SIM 5G support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C ports, ensuring compatibility with modern networking standards.
In terms of pricing, the Nova 2 Neo 5G starts at 12999 rupees for the 4GB and 128GB variant, while the 6GB and 128GB version is priced at 13999 rupees. The Nova 2 Pro 5G starts at 15999 rupees for the 6GB and 128GB model, with the 8GB and 128GB variant priced at 17999 rupees. Both smartphones are scheduled to go on sale through Flipkart from June 26, with additional bank discounts available for eligible buyers.
With large batteries, 5G support, AI features, and competitive pricing, the new Nova series aims to appeal to consumers seeking value driven smartphones that do not compromise on essential features.
