Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G to Face Ethical Hackers Before Launch in India

Ai+ is taking an unusual route before launching the Nova 2 Power 5G in India by inviting reviewers, creators, tech experts and ethical hackers to independently test security and performance.

Ai+ is preparing to launch its latest 5G smartphone in India, but the company is doing something rarely seen in the smartphone industry. Before the Nova 2 Power 5G reaches customers, it will be handed over to independent reviewers, technology creators and even professional ethical hackers for extensive testing.

The company says this initiative is designed to make the launch more transparent. Instead of asking users to rely only on official marketing claims, Ai+ wants the device to be tested by people outside the company who can evaluate its real world performance and security.

Company launches Project Open Review 2.0
Ai+ has introduced Project Open Review 2.0, a program that allows selected tech journalists, content creators and technology professionals to use the phone before its official launch. This time, the company has expanded the program by inviting ethical hackers to examine the software and security features independently.

The goal is to identify potential vulnerabilities, evaluate privacy protections and understand how the device performs under different testing conditions before it reaches consumers.

Independent reviews will be shared openly
According to Ai+, participants in the program will be free to publish their honest opinions and testing experiences. The company says reviewers will not be restricted in sharing their findings, giving buyers a better idea of how the phone performs in everyday use.

Ai+ also revealed that its previous open review initiative received more than 700 registrations, encouraging the brand to continue the program with a wider group of testers.

MediaTek Dimensity 7100 powers the new phone
The Nova 2 Power 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, a 6nm chipset designed to balance performance and power efficiency. It is expected to handle gaming, multitasking and daily smartphone usage with improved battery management.

While the processor has been confirmed, the company has not yet revealed complete details about the phone’s RAM, storage options, battery capacity, display or camera setup. These specifications are expected closer to the official launch.

NxtQuantum OS puts privacy first
The smartphone will run NxtQuantum OS, which Ai+ describes as India’s first sovereign mobile operating system. Developed by NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, the software is built with a strong focus on user privacy, data protection and a secure smartphone experience.

The company says privacy and security remain central to the operating system, making them one of the key selling points of the Nova 2 Power 5G.

Two eye catching colour options confirmed
Ai+ has also revealed the design and colour variants of the upcoming phone. The Nova 2 Power 5G will arrive in Golden Blue Fusion and Blue Fusion finishes.

Both versions feature a gradient design with shades of gold, orange and blue, giving the smartphone a distinctive look compared to conventional designs in the segment.

Launch details still under wraps
Although Ai+ has confirmed several highlights of the Nova 2 Power 5G, the official launch date, pricing and complete hardware specifications are still awaited. More information is expected as the company moves closer to the phone’s debut in the Indian market.
