So there is good news for those who have already applied for ration card and those who want to apply afresh. Those who have already applied for the ration card will get the ration card soon and will be allowed to apply for the new ration card after the old application process is over.

Already 75% verification has been completed and once this process is completed the card will be issued to the eligible. After that, the application for new ration cards will be started after getting the approval of the government.

Step to Check Ration Card Status Online:

Step 1 : Visit the official website https://www.karnataka.gov.in/

Step 2 : Then click on E-Status option

Step 3 : Then select the RC Request Status link tab

Step 4 : Then select your district from the districts that appear there

Step 5 : Click on Status Tab of Application Submitted for New Ration Card

Step 6 : Then, enter the Acknowledgment No in the box that appears.

Step 7: After that click on the Go button. Information about your application submission status will appear.

Here’s how to update ration card online:

Step 1 : Visit official https://ahara.kar.nic.in/

Step 2 : Click on e-service option on home page

Step 3 : After that the Request for Amendment/ New Addition option will appear, select it

Step 4: After that a new link will open

Step 5 : Click on the link that appears for your district

Step 6 : Fill the required information correctly in the new addition/amendment form

Step 7 : Then upload the scanned copy of the required documents for correction

Step 8: After uploading, submit the form

Step 9: Application submission register number will be available

Step 10: You can check the status of your application through this number.
