Through Gruha Lakshmi Yojana, Rs 2000 will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries every month to the accounts of house owners having Anthyodaya Card, BPL Card and APL Card in the state. Now 2 months money of Rs 4000 has been deposited in women’s account.

1.10 crore women have already applied for Gruha Lakhmi Yojana. But the money has not yet been credited to the accounts of 8 lakh women who have applied. The Department of Women and Child Welfare has taken measures to solve the technical problem.

At present, the state government has issued an order releasing Rs 4,600 crore grant for the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana for the period of August and September. The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana implemented by the Karnataka State Government has fixed an annual budget of Rs 17,500 crore.

Now the women and child development department has submitted a proposal to the state government to release 4,375 crores for the first installment of the project. Now, a total of Rs 4,600 crore has been released for August and September of the project. On the occasion of Ganesh festival, the state government has given good news to women.

Henceforth, the bank account of the beneficiaries will be credited on the 5th or 6th of every month. The state government has given good news to those who have applied for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme and have not yet received the money.

Rs 2000 had already been transferred to the bank accounts of most of them in the month of August. But about 8 lakh people have not yet received the money transfer. In the ration card of most of the beneficiaries who did not apply and transfer the money, there are men in the position of householders.

But the money of Gruha Lakhmi Scheme will be credited to such families only if the house owners are women. Amendments are allowed to rectify the problem in bank accounts. The time was initially given from September 1 to 10. Later, the period was extended till September 14. But due to the server problem some of them were not able to amend the ration card.

Those who have registered their application under Gruha Lakshmi Scheme and have not received the money, don’t worry, the state government is sending Asha workers and women and child welfare department personnel door to door to solve the problem.
