According to the action plan, the Karnataka Dasara holiday, which starts from October 3, will end on October 16. Like every year, this time also there will be 14 days Karnataka school holiday. Mid exams will be held for the students after the vacation. Children are given this leave for study purposes.

The academic year 2022-23 as per action plan calendar is as follows.

School Commencement: 16-05-2022: The first term of the academic year started from 16th May and will end on 2nd October.

14 days Dussehra holiday from October 3rd to October 16th

Half-yearly examination and evaluation from 17th October to 25th November

There are total 60 government holidays and 270 duty days in this academic year. But only 256 duty days will be available for curricular and extra-curricular activities.
