South Interior Karnataka: Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga.

Orange Alert (Very Heavy Rainfall): An orange alert, suggesting very heavy rainfall, has been issued for:

Coastal Karnataka: Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on August 20.

North Interior Karnataka: Belagavi and Haveri.

Malnad Region: Kodagu.

Other Areas with Rainfall Warnings:

Bengaluru (Urban and Rural): The city is expected to experience a week-long spell of rain, with moderate to heavy showers and strong winds. Authorities have warned of potential traffic disruptions and waterlogging.

Other districts in South Interior Karnataka: Hassan, Kodagu, and Mysuru are likely to see heavy to very heavy rainfall.
