For Gruha Lakshmi Scheme on August 30 government released Rs 2169 crore to 1.8 crore eligible beneficiaries. The government had released the grant of Rs 2280 crores to 1.14 lakh beneficiaries in the month of September.

Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: In order to increase the economic empowerment of women, the ambitious Gruha Lakshmi Scheme of the Karnataka state government, which provides Rs 2000 per month to the head of the family, has also been implemented and the first installment has been given.

But the money has not reached 9,44,155 applicants who have applied so far. Minister of Women and Child Development Department Lakshmi Hebbalkar said the exact reason for this. As announced before the elections, the Congress government has implemented the remaining four schemes except the Yuva Nidhi scheme.

In Anna Bhagya Yojana, due to shortage of rice, 5 kg of rice and 5 kg rice money is given for each member in card. Out of those who applied, 3082 applicants died and were disqualified. 1,59,356 applicants Demo verification failed. The reason for this is the difference in the beneficiary’s Aadhaar and bank account name. The Minister said these error fixing work already going on.

Accounts of 5,96,268 beneficiaries are not linked to Aadhaar card. But the bank account of 2,17,536 beneficiaries is linked with Aadhaar and the scheme money has gone to them. Steps have been taken to link Aadhaar to the rest of the beneficiaries by informing the CDPO.

About 1,75,683 beneficiaries have difference in name and address. The department has taken steps to do e-KYC of beneficiaries through banks. Hebbalkar said that the delay caused due to 9,766 indexed data is being re-examined by Seva sindhu.

Minister Lakshmi Hebbarlakar said that will send money through DBT after checking the information of 5.5 lakh beneficiaries. It is known that for Navratri festival if the necessary amendment is made before October 13, the 2nd installment will be deposited for the house owners and Rs 4000 will deposited for those who have not received the first installment.
