Gruha Lakshmi Yojana: 9 lakh people will not get September money, here is reason

So far, 9,44,155 applicants have not received the money under the state government's ambitious scheme Gruha Lakshmi Yojana. Women and Child Development Department Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has given suitable reasons for this.

Gruha Lakshmi Yojana: To increase the economic empowerment of women in the Karnataka, the head of the women in family will receive Rs 2,000 per month. So far, 9,44,155 applicants have not received the money under the state government’s ambitious scheme Gruha Lakshmi Yojana.

Karnataka Women and Child Development Department Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has given suitable reasons for this. 3082 applicants were disqualified due to death. Demo verification of 1,59,356 applicants failed. Aadhaar and bank account names of the beneficiaries are different and the work has been done to correct them.

5,96,268 Aadhaar is not linked with beneficiary account. Bank account of 2,17,536 beneficiaries have been successfully linked with Aadhaar. Steps have been taken to feed Aadhaar to the rest of the beneficiaries by informing the CDPO.

Name and address of 1,75,683 beneficiaries are different. The department has taken steps to do e-KYC of beneficiaries through banks. 9,766 said that the delay caused by the data entered is being re-examined by Seva Sindhu. The government had released Rs 2169 crore to 1.8 crore eligible beneficiaries. In month of September Rs 2280 crore was released to 1.14 lakh beneficiaries.

Till October 4 government transfer Rs 2000 each for 93 lakh beneficiaries account. Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that after checking the information of 5.5 lakh beneficiaries, steps have been taken to pay the money through DBT.

The first installment of money has already been transferred to the house owners under the subsidized Gruha Lakshmi Scheme and now the state government is preparing to release the 2nd installment in the 2nd week of October.

It is said that the state government is preparing to release the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme money in the 2nd week of October, and if the women who have not received the first installment government advice to correct problem in account with linking their bank account to Aadhaar, then both the installments will be credited to the account together.
