The Karnataka Congress government of the state has implemented the Congress guarantee Scheme. Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, Anna Bhagya Scheme, Gruha Jyothi, Shakthi Yojana have become a boon to the people. Now the government has given another good news to the BPL Card Holders.

The Karnataka state government is providing surplus rice through Anna Bhagya Yojana. Earlier, each member of BPL family was given 5 kg of rice. But now the state government has announced an additional five kg rice as per the guarantee scheme given before the elections. Under the Anna Bhagya Yojana, each member of the family was to be given 5 kg of rice by the central government and 5 kg by the state government. But due to the shortage of rice, the state government it was supposed to give cash instead of the rice . This scheme has been running in the state of Karnataka since last three months.

Meanwhile, the state government has given another good news to the BPL card holders. Also senior citizens with BPL card will get the benefit of this scheme. Through this new scheme, the department will deliver ration materials to the doorsteps of people above 90 years of age in the state.

The Food and Civil Supplies Department has already implemented the scheme and is awaiting approval from the finance department. This scheme will be implemented in the state as soon as the approval is received. Also preparations have been made to implement Suvidha app, CM Siddaramaiah will launch the app.

This scheme will benefit those who are not able to come to buy ration materials at a young age. This scheme has been started on a pilot basis in some districts of the state, and this scheme will be officially implemented across the state in the month of November.

The state government has not officially announced when this scheme will be launched. A delivery fee of Rs 50 per household is likely to be charged for door-to-door delivery of food items. Ration materials should be packed and given by the shopkeepers.

Also the shared photos should be uploaded in the app. Thus many rules are likely to be formulated. On the whole, the new scheme to be implemented in the state after the Anna Bhagya scheme is likely to be a boon for the poor.
