Dussehra Diwali festival Celebration: CM Siddaramaiah Important Announcement

Aware of the Atthibele disaster, the Karnataka government has held a meeting at the Home Office, Krishna. Speaking after the meeting, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that only green firecrackers are allowed to burst during Dussehra, Diwali festival.

Firecrackers cannot be burst at political events, Ganesh Chaturthi and weddings, everyone should use green firecrackers on Diwali. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said in the meeting that according to the Supreme Court order, only green firecrackers should be shot, strict action will be taken against those who break the rules while bursting firecrackers.

The entire state is reeling from the firework disaster in Atthibele. 14 people were burnt in the heinous tragedy, the expensive Balaji Firecrackers shop caught fire and 14 people were burnt alive, and the public expressed outrage that this incident happened because no safety measures were taken.

Alerted by this background, the government has prepared to implement many strict rules. Similarly, Tehsildar, Police Inpector and Fire Officers who were responsible for Attibele tragedy have been ordered to be suspended. The Chief Minister said that the Bengaluru District Collector has been instructed to issue a notice.

14 people from Tamil Nadu were burnt alive in Attibele firecracker warehouse fire disaster. Alarmed by this, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed the officials to keep strict vigil on the license of firecracker shops. Also in the matter of firecrackers, the Supreme Court has asked to follow the order, only green firecrackers should be permitted for Diwali festival. Said that strict action should be taken if polluters burst firecrackers.

There has been a change in the firecracker sales license rules. Once the license was obtained, there was an opportunity for renewal after 5 years. Henceforth, the license to sell firecrackers should be renewed every year. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to take strict action if the order is not followed.
