Dengue fever cases increased in Udupi; hospital bed full

Udupi: Dengue cases are found in the Jadkal region of Byndoor taluk in the district. More than 50 patients were admitted to the Government Hospital in Kundapura. Dengue fever cases increased in Udupi; hospital bed full.

A special ward has been opened for dengue victims and a nodal officer has been appointed. The number of people admitted to Udupi District Hospital and Mangaluru Wenlock Hospital has increased for Dengue fever cases.

As the number of infected people in Jadkal village is increasing, ambulance has been deployed. Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty visited the government hospital in Kundapura as the dengue sufferers were mostly admitted. And instructed the doctors to take appropriate action.
