Meanwhile, South Africa cricket legend former cricketer Hashim Amla has shared his prediction about the ODI World Cup 2023 to be held in India and named the four teams that will reach the semi-finals. Hashim Amla’s cricket career includes 8,113 ODI runs, 9,282 Test runs and 1,200 T20 International runs.

Hashim Amla captained South Africa in Test cricket from June 2014 to January 2016. He announced his retirement from international cricket after the 2019 ODI World Cup. The 41-year-old Hashim Amla named India, Pakistan, South Africa and England as potential semi-final contenders with unwavering confidence.

“I will go with India, Pakistan, South Africa and England in the ODI World Cup 2023 semi-finals,” declared Hashim Amla. However, Hashim Amla gave valuable advice to his home team South Africa. He encouraged the team to focus on their game and control the distractions and external pressures that accompany a major tournament.

As for South Africa’s campaign in the 2023 World Cup, they will face Sri Lanka in their opening match on October 7 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

World Cup 2023 practice match starts from September 29:

The World Cup will start from October 5 and practice matches will be held before this. In these matches, it will be possible to know how the teams from Netherlands and Afghanistan should compete with the big teams. A total of 10 matches will be played from September 29 to October 3.
