Rahul Dravid son Samit Dravid selected for team

Rahul Dravid‘s two children have followed in their father’s footsteps. The elder son Samit Dravid and the younger son Anvay Dravid chose cricket and now they have taken a bold step to achieve success in the sports field like their father.

Samit Dravid, son of current Indian head coach and former cricketer Rahul Dravid, has been selected for the Karnataka Under-19 team. The 17-year-old Samit has been named in the 15-member Karnataka squad selected for the upcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy.

Karnataka U19 team will be led by Dheeraj Gowda and Dhruv Prabhakar will appear as vice-captain. Harshil Dharmani and Yuvraj Arora have also been selected as wicket keepers.

Children on the Father’s Path:

Anvay Dravid led the Karnataka U-14 team in the U-14 inter-zonal tournament held in January this year. Before this, in the inter-zonal matches of 2019-20, Anvay had scored 2 double centuries. Now Samit Dravid is also ready to shine through the Under-19 team.

Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2023:

This time the Vinoo Mankad tournament will start from October 12. The final match of this under-19 tournament to be held in Hyderabad will be held on October 20.
