Congress won Karnataka assembly polls with a thumping majority of 135 seats while BJP managed only 66. Now Congress preparations for Lok Sabha elections 2024 have started and the Congress party has carried out a master plan to win 20 out of 28 constituencies in the Lok Sabha elections. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has already held a meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar and is making a grand plan for Lok Sabha Elections. It is said that DK Sivakumar and Mallikarjun Kharge are ready for a new experiment in the Lok Sabha elections, just like the strategy of the assembly elections.

The Congress, which has won the state assembly elections, is ready to experiment in many areas this time and has carried out a hands-on plan for changes in many areas. Discussion is going on that AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge to contest from Kolar (SC) constituency instead of Kalaburagi.

Who had previously lost the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, is likely to contest from the Kolar SC reserved seat this time. Congress is said to be looking for a new candidate in Kalaburagi. AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge and KPCC president DK Shivakumar have planned to field Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in Karnataka this time as per the grand plan.

And some reports says that actress and former MP Ramya have made a calculation to contest the election from Mandya constituency. HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy lost against Sumalatha Ambarish, an independent candidate. Now actress Ramya is likely to contest from Congress in this constituency. Since there is a possibility of a BJP-JDS alliance in the Lok Sabha elections this time, the candidate will be decided on who will get Mandya.

Some report says that Bengaluru Rural MP DK Suresh has expressed his displeasure that he is already tired of politics and said that he will give up the constituency if he gets a suitable candidate in the party. Congress has prepared to win at least two constituencies in Bengaluru in the wake of the next BBMP elections.
