Karnataka assembly elections Voting was held on May 10th, counting of votes started from 8 am today in 34 centers of the state and the fate of 2615 candidates will be decided by noon. Hassan Election Results: Huge win for JDS candidate Swaroop.

JDS candidate Swaroop Prakash has won a landslide victory in Hassan assembly constituency, which is the cause of intense interest, while BJP’s incumbent MLA Prithangowda has lost. An official announcement is pending.

According to the initial trend, Congress has crossed the magic number and won a simple majority, while BJP is in second place. Congress is leading in 115 seats and BJP is ahead in 73 seats. Now JDS has got lead in 29 seats and others in 7 seats.

On May 10, polling was held in a single phase, out of 5,30,85,566 voters, 3,88,51,807 people voted. Out of 26682156 men, 19658398 men have claimed. Out of 26398483 women voters, 19192372 women voted and out of 4927 Mangalmukhis, 1037 cast their votes. This time in the state a record amount of percent. 73.19 percent voting is done.
