Good news to Farmers: PM Kisan 14th installment will be released soon

New Delhi: The current beneficiary farmers are waiting for the 14th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 14th installement of the scheme is slated to be released between April and July 2023 and the release date will be announced by the central government soon. Beneficiaries received their last payment on February 26, 2023. This scheme is a central government program which will increase the income of all land holding farmer families in the country. Under this program, income support of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to each landowning farmer. Three equal payments of Rs.2,000 each will be made immediately to the beneficiary’s bank account. The government has so far released 13 installments under the PM Kisan scheme. More than 8 million eligible farmers have received a total of Rs 16,000 crore from the government.

Three payments are made to the beneficiaries in a year. Between April and July, the first installment is approved, the second installment between August and November and the third installment between December and March. All recipients of PM Kisan scheme are required to complete KYC. As per the information available on the official website, individuals can complete EKYC on PM-Kisan portal using OTP based procedure. Alternatively, they can use the biometric-based route to complete the process by visiting the nearest CSC center.
