B.Y. Vijayendra contest Shikaripura Constituency: Former CM BSY big announcement

Ahead of Karnataka Assembly Election 2023, Karnataka former Chief Minister B. S.Yediyurappa made big announcement. B.Y.Vijayendra contest Shikaripura Constituency: Former CM BSY big announcement. I will not contest from Shikaripura constituency. My son B.Y.Vijayendra will contest, said former CM B. S.Yediyurappa has announced.

Speaking to the reporters, he said that since I have vacated the Shikaripura constituency, B.Y.Vijayendra will contest in this constituency. On the Mysuru side, there was pressure for B.Y. Vijayendra’s contest. But since the seat is vacant here, Vijayendra will contest.

The people of this constituency requested to support B.Y. Vijayendra. By this B. S. Yediyurappa announced his retirement from electoral politics.

I will not contest from Shikaripura constituency my son B.Y. Vijayendra will contest, said former CM B. S. Yediyurappa. In response to B. S. Yediyurappa’s announcement, son Vijayendra said, “There is no special reason for his father’s decision. He responded that he will act according to the party’s decision as per his father’s wishes.

Even if his father withdraws, he works for the party. It is a personal decision. There is no special reason for this decision of the father. B. S. Yediyurappa has taken a decision as the constituency leader wished.

The people of the constituency have been putting pressure for many years. As per my father’s wishes, I will organize the party in the old Mysuru area as per the party’s decision. I am ready to contest in any constituency in the state. I will tour across the state and strengthen the party. BSY’s son Vijayendra has given his statement that he will strengthen party whether he is in power or not.
