PM Kisan eKYC deadline extended: Check last date and step by step guide

PM Kisan eKYC : The central government has extended the deadline to complete the mandatory e-KYC by a week to May 31, 2022. According to a notice on the PM Kisan portal, “Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st May 2022.” PM Kisan eKYC deadline extended: Check last date and step by step guide.

Step by step guide to complete e-KYC process

Step 1: Visit PM Kisan’s official webpage: https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on eKYC option available on right side of the page

Step 3: Enter Aadhaar Card number, captcha code and click on search

Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card

Step 5: Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field.

Note: If all the details match, eKYC will be completed; otherwise, it will be marked as invalid. You will need to contact the local Aadhar Seva Kendra in case it shows invalid. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) is a central scheme with 100 percent funding from the Government of India.

The scheme was rolled out in December 2018. Under the scheme, an income support of Rs 6,000/- per year is provided to all farmer families across the country in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.

The farmers are waiting for PM Kisan 11th instalment. It is expected to be released by the end of this month, as per various media reports. The 10th instalment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2022.
