After the latest revision, the LPG price in New Delhi has been cut by Rs 83.50 to Rs 1,773/cylinder from Rs 1,856.50/cylinder.

However, the price of 14.2-kg domestic gas cylinders that are used in households for cooking, remains unchanged. In New Delhi, the price of commercial gas has been reduced by Rs 83.5, now standing at Rs 1773. Last month, it was priced at Rs 1856.50 per cylinder.

Starting from June 1, Delhi residents can purchase replacement commercial gas cylinders for Rs 1773. In Kolkata, the same will be available for Rs 1875.50. The price of commercial cylinders in Kolkata is now Rs 1875.50. The price of commercial gas cylinders for Mumbai has come down to Rs 1725. In Chennai, it’s now Rs 1937.

Currently, domestic cooking gas costs Rs 1,003 per 14.2-kg cylinder in New Delhi. In Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the rates are Rs 1,029, Rs 1,002.5, and Rs 1,018.5 respectively. The rate of domestic LPG cylinders was last revised in 2022.

It was hiked four times last year with a cumulative rise of Rs 153 – Rs 50 in July, Rs 50 and Rs 3.50 in May and Rs 50 in March. For the past few months, there have been no changes in the price of domestic LPG. The last update was in March, and since then, the prices have remained stable.

The prices vary across different locations: Rs 1340 in Leh, Rs 1260 in Aizawl, Rs 1108.5 in Bhopal, Rs 1106.5 in Jaipur, Rs 1105.5 in Bengaluru, Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1102.5 in Mumbai, and Rs 1219 in Srinagar. In Patna, the price of domestic gas is Rs 1201, while in Kanyakumari, it is Rs 1187.

Andaman offers it at Rs 1179, Ranchi at Rs 1160.5, Dehradun at Rs 1122, Chennai at Rs 1118.5, Agra at Rs 1115.5, Chandigarh at Rs 1112.5, Ahmedabad at Rs 1110, Shimla at Rs 1147.5, and Lucknow at Rs 1140.5 per cylinder.
