LPG Gas Cylinder price down again Rs 158 Today: Know latest rates

Price of commercial LPG gas cylinders has also seen a decrease, which has made people even more happy. In a major relief to LPG consumers, public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) have cut the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 158, sources said.

Just two days ago, the price of domestic gas cylinder has decreased. Currently, on the back of it, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders has also seen a decrease, which has made people even more happy. In a major relief to LPG consumers, public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) have cut the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 158, sources said.

Earlier, on the first day of Raksha Bandhan, the central government had reduced domestic LPG prices by Rs 200 as a gift to the women of the country. Now the price of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced and the new prices will be effective from today, the retail price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 1,522.

A cylinder will now be sold at Rs 1636 as against Rs 1802.50 in Kolkata. Similarly in Mumbai it was Rs.1640.50 now it is only Rs.1482. However, the commercial gas cylinder price has decreased by Rs.157.5 in Chennai. It is now Rs. 1695 as against Rs. 1852. There has been a decrease.

The monthly revisions of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinders for commercial and domestic use will be reduced on the first day of every month. The new rates will be effective from September 1. Earlier in August, oil marketing companies had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs. 99.75 per cent cut. In July, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders was increased by Rs 7 each.

Prior to this hike, there were two consecutive cuts for commercial LPG cylinders in May and June this year. In May, oil marketing companies cut the price of a commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 172, while in June it was reduced by Rs 83. Even in April their prices have come down to Rs 91.50 per unit.

1) Delhi: Rs 1,522.50

2) Kolkata: Rs 1,636

3) Mumbai: Rs 1,482

4) Chennai: Rs 1,695.
