Bihar elections a battle between NDA development and Congress-led destruction, says JP Nadda

Aurangabad : Addressing a massive election rally in Bihar, BJP National President JP Nadda claimed that the upcoming Assembly elections would be a contest between ‘development’ under the NDA and ‘destruction’ under Congress and its allies.
Criticizing Congress, Nadda said, “Congress has devoured smaller parties under the so-called ‘India band’ and left nothing behind.” He extended his attack to the RJD, asserting, “RJD under Lalu Prasad represents corruption, anarchy, and intimidation.”
Nadda also mocked promises made by Tejashwi Yadav to provide jobs and prevent migration, saying such pledges recall past land scams and job irregularities associated with RJD’s tenure.
Further, Nadda took a dig at RJD’s decision to give a ticket to Osama Shahab, son of gangster Mohammad Shahabuddin, claiming, “This shows how little concern RJD has for Bihar’s development and law and order.”
The BJP president highlighted NDA’s achievements in Bihar, emphasizing infrastructure growth, employment opportunities, and welfare schemes. He urged voters to consider the contrast between governance under NDA and alleged misrule by Congress and RJD while casting their votes.
Analysts note that Nadda’s focus on law and order, governance, and anti-corruption messaging is aimed at consolidating upper-caste, Dalit, and urban voters in the state. The BJP leadership is positioning the elections as a referendum on development versus misgovernance, hoping to weaken the Congress-RJD alliance’s electoral base.
Nadda concluded his rally by appealing to party workers to mobilize voters, promising that the NDA government in Bihar would continue to prioritize development, education, and employment for all sections of society.
The Bihar Assembly elections are now set to witness intense campaigning from both the NDA and opposition fronts, with the focus on development, governance, and social justice taking center stage in the political narrative.
