Oil marketing companies have hiked the price of commercial LPG cylinders to Rs 209 on October 1. After this price hike, the retail selling price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased to Rs 1731.50 per cylinder. In fact, oil marketing companies usually revise LPG prices on the first date of the month. This time the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased.

The price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased to Rs 209. The development comes a month after Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) cut commercial LPG prices by Rs 158 per cylinder with effect from September 1. After this, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 1,522. was, now it has increased to Rs.1731.50.

Earlier this month, the Union Cabinet approved an additional 75 lakh new LPG connections under the Ujjwala scheme, which will be provided over the next three years. The total cost of these connections is Rs 1,650 crore.
