Tumkur: JDS has filed a complaint against former BJP MLA Suresh Gowda for violating the code of conduct. JDS has lodged a complaint against former MLA Suresh Gowda from Tumkur Rural Constituency. A complaint has been lodged with the Taluk Electoral Officer of Tumkur alleging that they violated the code of conduct by campaigning till 12 o’clock in the night in Bhairasandra, Haralur, Siddapur, Nayakanapalya. An important meeting was held under the leadership of AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge regarding the selection of candidates for the remaining 58 constituencies among the candidates for the Karnataka assembly election. Opposition leaders Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar discussed the selection of candidates for the 58 constituencies for the Karnataka assembly election with Mallikarjuna Kharge. It is said that candidates are likely to be announced in about 25 constituencies.

Congress has already announced candidates for 166 constituencies in two phases, a meeting was held to finalize candidates for remaining 58 constituencies, out of which candidates have been selected for 25 constituencies, the 3rd list is likely to be released today or tomorrow.
