Till now, 11 installments of the Yojana have been distributed to the beneficiaries and the next twelfth installment awaits.

But to get the benefits, the government has now declared PM Kisan KYC compulsory for all the beneficiaries. 31st July 2023 is also declared as the last day to get your KYC done either through online mode by visiting the official website or by visiting the nearest common service center. Make sure to complete your KYC before the last date 31st July 2023 in order to get the benefits.

What is PM Kisan KYC/PM Kisan e-KYC?

KYC is the short for know your customer, a term used for customer identification process. KYC involves making efforts to determine the true identity of the beneficiary. The objective of the KYC is to prevent money laundering. To complete this beneficiary identification process, PM Kisan beneficiaries have to provide their Aadhaar number.

Steps for OTP-based PM Kisan KYC:

Step 1: Go to the official PM Kisan website, and you will find the ‘e-KYC’ option under the ‘Farmers Corner’, towards the right side of the page.

Step 2: On the next page, provide your Aadhaar number. Click on the ‘Search’ option.

Step 3: You will now receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this on the next page and click on ‘Submit OTP’ option. With this, your PM Kisan eKYC will be complete.

In case the information provided by you is not valid, the e KYC will not be complete. Those who have already completed their PM Kisan eKYC will get a message that eKYC is already done.

Steps for OTP-based PM Kisan KYC on Mobile:

Step 1: Go to the official PM Kisan mobile app. You will find the ‘e-KYC’ option under the ‘Farmers Corner’ towards the right side of the page.

Step 2: On the next page, provide your Aadhaar number. Click on the ‘Search’ option.

Step 3: You will now receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this on the next page and click on ‘Submit OTP’ option. With this, your PM Kisan eKYC will be complete.

Steps for face-authentication PM Kisan KYC on mobile:

Step 1: Download on the PM Kisan app from Google Play Store.

Step 2: On the PM Kisan mobile app, you will find the no user status module.

Step 3: Use the face authentication feature to complete e-KYC.

Biometric-based PM Kisan eKYC offline:

Step 1: To complete PM Kisan eKYC offline, visit your nearest Common Service Center. To find the nearest CSC, click here. Do not forget to carry your Aadhaar card and registered mobile number, when you visit the CSC.

Step 2: Provide your Aadhaar and other details to the CSC operator.

Step 3: Also provide your biometrics at the centre, including the thumb impression.

Step 4: Using his login, the CSC operator will enter the required details into the computer for biometric authentication. After this, your eKYC will be updated and you will receive a message on your mobile.

Step to check PM Kistan eKYC status:

Step 1: To know whether your PM Kisan eKYC is updated, go to the official website.

Step 2: You can now conduct the search using your PM Kisan registration number or mobile number.

Step 3: Input the captcha code and the click on ‘Get Data’. The next page will show your PM Kisan eKYC status.
