As the Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 approaches, there have been significant developments in the state BJP and RSS leaders have also entered the arena.

In addition to this, the fact that RSS leaders have been meeting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has given support to this. Earlier, Dattatreya Hosabale , the official of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was meet CM Bommai on yesterday (December 09) RSS co-convener Mukund met twice in the same day and discussed for two hours, creating a sensation.

Mukund had a meeting with CM Bommai last night for about two hours, during which they discussed about allowing new faces to the cabinet. It is also known that there have been talks about giving tickets to Sangh Parivar candidates in the upcoming assembly elections.

In the two-hour long meeting, internal issues of the BJP were discussed and talks were also held about bridging the link between BJP workers and RSS workers. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had earlier said that he would expand the state cabinet after the Gujarat elections. Accordingly, the Gujarat elections are now over.

In this background, the issue of cabinet expansion has come to the fore again due to successive visits of the CM by RSS leaders and it is said that they have requested to give preference to MLAs who are closely connected with the organization. It is known that there was a discussion about the inclusion of Eshwarappa, Ramesh Jarakiholi and CP Yogeshwar in the cabinet.
