Tractor rally mayhem: Chaotic scenes were witnessed in several parts of the national capital during farmers’ tractor parade on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day as a section of farmers protesting against the farm laws stormed into the city way before the pre-decided time, prompting security personnel to resort to lathicharge and tear gas.

The protesters also deviated from the routes decided during a meeting between the police and farmer leaders a day before the rally, and entered ITO in the heart of the national capital and the iconic Red Fort and hoisted flags from some domes of the iconic monument.
