Increase of covid cases in China; BBMP decided to mask mandatory in Bengaluru

In view of the increase in covid abroad, BBMP has come forward to make masks mandatory in city limits. BBMP has already submitted a request in this regard to the Covid Advisory Committee. In the neighboring country of China, which has the largest population in the world, the Corona infection has escalated again. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, a meeting has been called under the leadership of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Union Minister Mansukh is discussing with senior officials and experts about the Covid situation in the country. After this, now BBMP has thought about making masks mandatory. In view of the increase in covid abroad, BBMP has come forward to make masks mandatory in city limits. BBMP has already submitted a request in this regard to the Covid Advisory Committee.

New Year crowd is likely to increase. And foreigners come to the city from abroad. In this case, there is a high possibility of increasing covid. So in the first step awareness should be created to wear a mask without any fine. BBMP has expressed the stand that masks should be made mandatory in most places including markets, malls, theaters, parks, metros, buses, and airlines. Hence, masks are likely to become mandatory.

Union Health Minister called a meeting to review the country’s Covid-19 situation; Highlights of the meeting

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with a team of experts in Delhi on Wednesday to review the Covid-19 situation in the country. In view of the rise in Covid cases in China, South Korea, America, Japan and Brazil, the Center has decided to understand the country situation to avoid another health crisis.

The meeting was attended by senior secretaries of the Ministry of Health and AYUSH, Department of Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, Indian Council of Medical Research Director Rajeev Bale, NITI Aayog (Health) Member VK Paul and National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) Chairman NL Arora. Officials have participated.
