7th Pay Commission: Good news for government employees 44% salary increased

There is good news for central government employees. After the 7th Pay Commission, the government will soon set up the 8th Pay Commission. Next year salary of central employees will be rise above 44 percent.

Along with this, pay should be checked in any formula other than fitment factor. A lot of changes can be seen in this pay commission as compared to the old commission. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum wage of current employees is Rs 18,000 and the government has implemented a fitment factor for this wage.

There was a lot of opposition to this at the time, but Finance Minister Arun Jaitley believed that some new scales should be used to fix the salaries of central employees, thus implementing the fitment factor, on which employees’ salaries were calculated. Salary can be directly increased from Rs.18,000 to Rs.26,000.

In the Seventh Pay Commission, the fitment factor was 2.57 times, then the wages of employees increased by 14.29 percent and due to this increase, the minimum wage of employees was fixed at Rs 18,000. Under the Eighth Pay Commission, it is believed that this time the fitment factor may increase by 3.68 times, followed by an increase of 44.44 times the salary of the employees.
