Oppo Find X10 Series May Bring New OLED Display and 200MP Cameras

Oppo appears to be working on its next flagship smartphone family, and early reports suggest the Find X10 series could bring some notable changes to both display technology and camera hardware. The lineup is expected to include multiple models, with the top end Find X10 Pro Max reportedly receiving the most ambitious upgrades.

A new display could be one of the main attractions of the series. Tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed on Weibo that Oppo may use a Tianma OLED panel featuring N1 luminescent material. The screen is reportedly capable of reaching a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits.

The display is also said to use Tianma’s Tiangong Screen 2.0 technology. According to the report, the panel could use newer materials for its red, green and blue components. The technology is expected to focus not only on image quality but also on reducing potentially harmful blue light.

Another interesting detail is the reported support for the BT.2020 color gamut. This standard covers a wider range of colors than DCI P3, potentially allowing the display to produce richer and more accurate colors. The reported panel could also offer a higher proportion of beneficial red light, which may help improve viewing comfort while maintaining color performance.

For the standard Oppo Find X10, the screen is expected to measure around 6.59 inches and offer 1.5K resolution. Slim bezels could give the phone a more modern appearance, while the display may support a wider color gamut than the one used on the previous Find X9.

Performance could also receive an upgrade. The Find X10 is reportedly being tested with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Lite chipset. This would place the phone in the premium performance segment while potentially allowing Oppo to differentiate it from the more powerful Pro Max model.

The camera department could be where the Find X10 family makes its biggest impression. Reports suggest that the series may include a 200 megapixel primary camera, although the exact configuration could differ between models.

The Find X10 Pro Max is attracting even more attention because of reports surrounding its camera setup. An engineering prototype is said to have been tested with three 200 megapixel rear cameras. If the reported configuration reaches the final product, the phone could feature a 200 megapixel primary camera, a 200 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 200 megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Such a setup would be an unusually aggressive approach to smartphone photography. Instead of concentrating the highest resolution sensor in just one camera, Oppo could potentially use 200 megapixel sensors across multiple focal lengths. This could give users greater flexibility when switching between standard, ultra wide and long distance photography.

The Pro Max model is also expected to feature a 6.78 inch 1.5K flat display. Reports indicate that Oppo could use LIPO technology to reduce the surrounding bezels further, giving the screen a more edge to edge appearance.

Under the hood, the Find X10 Pro Max could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. A 50 megapixel front camera is also reportedly being considered for the device, which would give the flagship a high resolution option for selfies and video calls.

It is worth remembering that these specifications are based on leaks and reports rather than official product information. Oppo has not yet confirmed the final display specifications, camera arrangement, processors or launch details of the Find X10 series.

Still, the early information points toward a substantial upgrade. A new Tianma OLED panel, high brightness, wider color support and a possible 200 megapixel triple camera system could make the Find X10 lineup one of the more interesting premium smartphone launches to watch.
