The coastal belt is among the areas expected to see widespread rainfall. Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada may receive light to moderate showers at many locations. Winds in these districts could reach speeds of around 30 to 40 kilometres per hour.

Northern Karnataka is also expected to experience unsettled weather. Bidar, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Gadag, Haveri, Dharwad, Belagavi, Koppal, Bagalkot, Raichur and Yadgir are among the districts where light to moderate rain is possible in some areas.

Wind activity could be stronger across parts of northern Karnataka, with speeds potentially reaching 40 to 50 kilometres per hour. Residents and motorists are therefore advised to remain careful, particularly when travelling through open areas and roads surrounded by trees.

Bengaluru and several districts in southern Karnataka may also see rain. Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural are included in the forecast, along with Ballari, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumakuru and Vijayanagara.

Rainfall in Bengaluru is expected to remain light to moderate in some locations rather than being uniform across the entire city. Local weather conditions may change during the day, so residents should be prepared for sudden showers.

The possibility of strong winds makes basic precautions important. People are advised to avoid standing under trees or close to electric poles during periods of heavy rain and strong winds. Motorists should also drive carefully on wet roads and avoid unnecessary travel when weather conditions become difficult.
