Karnataka Government Approves 800 Health Department Jobs Through Direct Recruitment

The Karnataka government has cleared direct recruitment for 800 Health Department vacancies, with the official notification, eligibility criteria, application schedule and selection process expected to be announced soon.

Candidates waiting for government jobs in Karnataka have received encouraging news as the state government has approved direct recruitment for 800 vacancies in the Health and Family Welfare Department. The recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening healthcare services across the state and filling long pending vacant positions.

Under the approved recruitment plan, the department will fill 400 Junior Laboratory Technician Officer posts and 400 Pharmacy Officer posts through direct recruitment. The government believes the appointments will help improve medical services in hospitals and healthcare institutions.

The vacancies have been distributed across different districts based on staffing requirements. Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi and several other districts will receive appointments under the recruitment drive, with district wise allocations already approved.

Although administrative approval has been granted, the recruitment process has not yet begun. The Health and Family Welfare Department is expected to issue the official recruitment notification shortly, which will include details such as application dates, educational qualifications, age limits, reservation guidelines and the selection process.
