India International Coffee Festival to brew excitement in Bengaluru from February 12 to 14

Bengaluru : India’s vibrant coffee community is set to converge in Bengaluru as the India International Coffee Festival (IICF) returns from February 12 to 14, 2026 at Chamara Vajra, Jayamahal Road. Recognised as the country’s only dedicated coffee festival, the event is organised by the Specialty Coffee Association of India (SCAI) with support from the Coffee Board of India and presented by NESCAFÉ, Nestlé India.

The three-day festival will bring together every segment of India’s coffee ecosystem on a single platform. More than 20,000 visitors are expected to attend, including coffee growers, processors, exporters, roasters, café brands, baristas, equipment manufacturers and consumers. IICF 2026 aims to serve as a major industry-led forum for collaboration, innovation, knowledge exchange and market access as India’s coffee sector moves toward a more quality-driven future.

Kurma Rao M, CEO & Secretary of the Coffee Board of India, emphasised the growing stature of Indian coffee globally. “Indian coffee is gaining recognition for its quality and diversity. Platforms such as IICF play an important role in connecting producers with markets, encouraging best practices and supporting the long-term growth of both domestic consumption and exports,” he said.

Hamsini Appadurai, President of SCAI and organiser of IICF, said the festival reflects the changing dynamics of the industry. “India’s coffee sector is steadily moving from a commodity-led approach to a quality- and experience-driven market. This edition of IICF mirrors that shift with greater scale, deeper business engagement and a strong focus on showcasing the diversity and potential of Indian coffee across domestic and global markets,” she said.

Built around a comprehensive farm-to-cup theme, the festival will offer curated tastings, workshops and cupping sessions that provide insights into coffee production, processing, roasting and brewing. These experiences will highlight regional coffee profiles, innovative processing methods and flavour development, encouraging informed consumption and appreciation for traceability and craftsmanship.

A major highlight of IICF 2026 will be the National Coffee Championships, where winners from regional rounds will earn the opportunity to represent India at international competitions, further strengthening India’s footprint on the global specialty coffee stage.

Vikram Khurana, CEO of Kaapi Solutions and one of the festival sponsors, said, “Kaapi Solutions has been closely associated with IICF for many years, growing alongside India’s coffee community. As the biggest coffee festival in the country, IICF plays a vital role in shaping our industry. We are proud to support this platform and sponsor the National Barista Championship, celebrating skill, passion and progress in Indian coffee.”

A Nestlé India spokesperson also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “NESCAFÉ congratulates IICF for bringing together innovation, craftsmanship and community – all essential to the sustainable growth of India’s coffee sector. We share a deep commitment to high-quality coffee and an innovation mindset that delights the rapidly evolving Indian consumer,” the spokesperson said.

“Through the NESCAFÉ Plan, we work closely with over 5,000 farmers to improve livelihoods, strengthen community resilience and promote environmental care, ensuring that coffee cultivation remains an attractive and sustainable livelihood for future generations,” the statement added.
