Bengaluru: Likely to experience intensifying rain activity, including scattered light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. October is historically a wet month for the city. Generally, through October 12 (KSNDMC 7-day advisory); Specific IMD warnings for the next five days (from Oct 8).
Belagavi: Expected to experience light to moderate rainfall, lightning, and thunderstorms. Falls under the North Interior Karnataka region, where alerts have been issued on October 9 to October 10.
Raichur: Expected to experience light to moderate rainfall, lightning, and thunderstorms. Moderate rainfall also anticipated in Raichur and Koppal. Falls under the North Interior Karnataka region, where alerts have been issued on October 9 –to October 10.
Bidar: Expected to experience moderate rainfall, accompanied by wind speeds ranging between 30-60 km/h, lightning, and thunder. Falls under the northern districts alert on October 9 and October 10.
Coastal, Malnad & South Interior Karnataka: Likely to experience heavy rainfall at isolated locations. South Interior Karnataka is specifically under an IMD warning for Heavy Rain, Thunderstorm & Lightning for October 9-10, Through October 12.
Warns of scattered light to moderate rain across the state, often accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated locations in Coastal districts, Malnad, and the southern interior regions through October 12.
