Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a female co-pilot has accused her fellow pilot of sexual assault during a layover in Bengaluru. The alleged incident took place at a five-star hotel during a break between flights as part of their chartered flight duty.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, on November 18, she and two male pilots were on a special charter flight from Begumpet, Hyderabad, to Bengaluru, with a stopover at the cityβs five-star hotel. They were scheduled to operate another flight the next day.
During the layover, one of the pilots, identified as Rohit Sharan, allegedly asked the female co-pilot to join him for a cigarette break. She agreed, and after smoking, they headed back to the hotel.
