RBI Recruitment 2023: Apply Online 291 Grade B Officer Post

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the RBI Grade B Exam date 2023 along with the official notification. RBI Recruitment 2023: Apply Online 291 Grade B Officer Post. The RBI Grade B 2023 Phase 1 Exam will be conducted on 9th July 2023 and the Phase 2 Exam will be conducted on 30th July and 16th July 2023 for General, DEPR, and DSIM posts.

RBI Grade B Officer 2023 Age Limit: 21 to 30 years

RBI Grade B Officer 2023 Salary: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B.

RBI Grade B Officer 2023 Educational Qualifications:

Officers (General): A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years.

Officers (DEPR): A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute. OR PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; (OR) Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc.

With a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.

Officers (DSIM): A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years. OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; (OR) M. Stat.

Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years; (OR) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

How to Apply RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2023:

 Eligible candidates are required to fill online application form through RBI Online Registration portal (ibpsonline.ibps.in/rbioapr23/). The candidates should fill basic details and upload relevant documents (Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, a handwritten declaration). The closing date for registration of online applications is 09/06/2023 till 6:00 PM.

What is the qualification for RBI Grade B Officer?

RBI Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline / equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation in any discipline. Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.

RBI Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR:  A Master’s Degree in Economics (or any other master’s degree where “Economics” is the principal constituent of the curriculum/syllabus, namely MA / MSc in Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics) (OR) A Master’s Degree in Finance.
